Alex Graudins (she/they) is a freelance cartoonist and illustrator based in lil Rhode Island. She studied at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and graduated in 2016 with a BFA in Cartooning.

Over the years, Alex’s work has appeared in numerous Dirty Diamond anthologies, The Adventure Zine, Dear Evan Hansen: Through the Window, The NIB, The Mary Sue, and, most recently, a Tostitos ad campaign. She is best known as the creator of the graphic memoir Improve: How I Discovered Improv and Conquered Social Anxiety and the artist for Science Comics: The Brain and History Comics: The Great Chicago Fire.

She specializes in YA autobiography and narrative fiction touching on mental health, asexuality, and/or friendship. When she’s not drawing, she’s usually at the library or thinking a liiiittle too much about D&D.
